At Fitness 51, we put a lot of our clients on wheat free diets. After their initial shock of life without pasta, biscuits and, of course, good ole fashioned sandwiches, they always ask for alternative recipes. Here is one of our favorite replacements for the classic turkey sandwich.
Brown Spicy Mustard (We used Boar's Head Delicatessen Mustard)
Cheese (We chose Colby Jack! mmmmm...)
And, of course, a Cucumber :)
How to make:
1. Begin by slicing the cucumber into thin slices. We prepared 8 slices to make 4 sandwiches.
2. Place the cheese and turkey on the cucumber slice, add mustard and then top with another slice of cucumber. How easy is that?!
3. Enjoy your yummy wheat and guilt free sandwiches!
